7. Rear Admiral Robin Campsie DALGLISH CB [scrapbook] (James Campsie , James , William ) was born in 1880. He died in 1934. Rear Adm R C Dalglish was in the British Olympic Fencing Team in 1920 and 1924.

They had the following children.

	11	M	i	Captain RN James Stephen DALGLISH CVO CBE was born in 1913. He died in 1995.
				James married Evelyn Mary MEYRICKE in 1939.

	13	F	iii	Daphne Cicely "Sister Claudia" DALGLISH was born in 1916. She died in 1983. She was a nun with the Society of the Holy Child Jesus.
	14	M	iv	Lieutenant Colonel Douglas Robin DALGLISH MC was born in 1918. He died in 1978. He served with The Royal Leicestershire Regiment (Royal Anglian).
				Douglas married Maud Winifred STAPLEDON "Wiggs" in 1950.
	15	F	v	Marie Louise DALGLISH was born in 1919. She died in 1999.
				Marie married Richard Anthony GARRETT CBE "Tony" in 1946.
	16	F	vi	Valerie Jean DALGLISH was born in 1919. She died in 2005.
				Valerie married Richard Anthony RAPP "Tony" in 1947. Tony was born in 1908. He died in 1983.
	17	M	vii	Alec Charles DALGLISH was born in 1931. He died in 2010. He went to the Oratory School and was an accomplished musician; a skill that he passed on to all his children on different instruments. He worked for Coates Patons and, when advertising their fabrics, he would astonish people with his speed at knitting.
				Alec married Jean Firth BEAUMONT in 1974.

They had the following children.

	18	F	i	Rosemary DALGLISH was born in 1907. She died in 1958.
				Rosemary married Addison CAMMOCK. Addison died in 1955.
	19	F	ii	Patricia DALGLISH was born in 1909. She died in 1973.
				Patricia married William Perkins BULL "Billy". Billy was born in 1905. He died in 1963.
	20	F	iii	Veronica DALGLISH was born in 1912. She died in 1958.
				Veronica married Francis Edward DUSGATE "Ginger". Ginger died in 1958.

They had the following children.

	21	F	i	Diana SILVERTOP was born in 1907. She died in 1995.
				Diana married Brigadier RA Basil Charles TRAPPES-LOMAX MC. Basil was born in 1896. He died in 1963.
	22	M	ii	Lt-Col David Arthur Henry SILVERTOP DSO MC was born in 1912. He died in 1944. Killed in action in Holland He served with 14th/20th King's Hussars and commanded 3rd Battalion Royal Tank Regiment when liberating Antwerp on 4/9/1944. There is a bridge named after him in Antwerp.
	23	F	iii	Pamela SILVERTOP.

	25	M	ii	Michael de Lauret DALGLISH MA (Oxon) was born in 1922. He died in 1976.
				Michael married Xanthe Veronica RYDER. Xanthe was born in 1926. She died in 1998. She was in the British Olyimpic Skiing Team in 1948.
