6. William MCCLYMONT (John , John ) was born in 1835. He died in 1883.

William was shot with an arrow by Indians near Buenos Aires.  In the late 19th century, the Mapuche had migrated over the Andes from Chile and fused with ethnic groups in Argentina.  They wanted to dominate the southern area of Argentina.  The Argentines fought to conquer the Puelmapu, Patagonian region and won in 1884.  It is not known but possible that William was involved in the fight.

William married Lucinda MILLER in 1863 in Buenos Aires. Lucinda was born in 1839. She died in 1923.
