4. Dr William Cooper THOMSON (Alexander , John ).

Medical missionery in West Africa.

It is not certain that William is the son of Alexander, but it is a strong possibility that he is and that he was brought up with many siblings by their uncle, William. (See also the Notes on William elder and Alexander "Greek" Thomson.)

William married Margaret Morrison FRAME, daughter of Dr Thomas FRAME and Margaret MILLER. Margaret was born in 1849. She died in 1873.

They had the following children.

6 M ii William THOMSON.

8 F iv Margaret "Maggie" THOMSON.

Maggie married Robert GALLWAY.
