Sir Rowland Belasise of Belasis, Beauly and Wolveston.  Acquired also Houghton-le-Spring in right of his wife by charter dated 1239.  Knighted at the Battle of Lewes, 1264.

Rowland married Mary SPRING [scrapbook], daughter of Sir Henry SPRING.
